Farhana Khatun is a distinguished professional in Industrial and Organizational Psychology with a passion for helping individuals overcome emotional challenges and build resilience. She completed her MS in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Dhaka, achieving a GPA of 3.71/4.00, securing the first position in her class. Farhana also holds a BSc. in Psychology from the same institution with a GPA of 3.49/4.00.
Currently, she is a Lecturer of Psychology at Mirpur University College. Her previous roles include serving as a Lecturer and Psycho-social Counselor at Green University of Bangladesh, where she provided counseling to students, faculty members, and staff, and organized seminars and workshops on various psychological issues. Additionally, she worked as a Counselor at the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP), offering psychosocial and vocational counseling to individuals with disabilities.
Farhana’s expertise includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psycho-social counseling, and mental health first aid. Her research focuses on improving mental health services and she has actively contributed to enhancing employee well-being and performance in various sectors.
